FLUID IN LUNGS AND COUGHING

My brother was admitted to hospital for severe coughing with blood. Treated on strong antibiotics and condition stabilized. However there is much fluid in the lungs.

Doctor has advised surgery .

We are not sure if surgery is necessary especially his condition has improved.

There is inflammation in the lungs, along with mucous.

Bringing up mucous and is a good thing. That helps get any bacteria etc up out of the lungs.
